Pro-MEC and IDC Corporation
to Partner in AGV Market
On December 10, 2020, a partnership between IDC Corporation and PME was made official. Beginning in 2021, PME will be the sole supplier of the chassis and peripheral components for IDC's automated guided vehicles (AGVs).
These AGVs can be found autonomously transporting goods in companies such as Whirlpool, John Deere, and Ford.
Behind the scenes, PME designers have been working closely with IDC engineers to develop the Smooth Move SM2K. This will be the first production ready model to be assembled at PME, with future models.
Pro-MEC and GridIron Manufacturing Partner
2022 marked a new venture between Pro-MEC, IDC and GridIron. A partnership between the three entities was made official. The second half of 2022 has proven a success for GridIron as they have completed many projects, moved to a new location in Grand Ledge, MI and have purchased new equipment to kick-off 2023.
